Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, evenings Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Green Bay, WI. This position involves providing care to a diverse patient population, including pediatric and adult patients, recovering from various surgical procedures such as cardiothoracic, neurosurgery, orthopedics, and more. The role focuses on managing patient recovery, interpreting cardiac rhythms, and ensuring safe discharge protocols in a fast-paced environment. Job Details Location: Green Bay, WI Schedule: Evening shifts, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week Required Qualifications: RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications, CAPA or CPAN certification, minimum 2 years PACU experience managing adult and pediatric patients, reading/interpret cardiac rhythms, managing cardiac gtts, providing discharge instructions, experience recovering post-cath, bronchs, IR patients Skills required: Experience in PACU, managing ventilated patients, managing art lines, TR bands, chest tubes, CBI, and working with EPIC electronic medical record system Support within the Department: Charge nurses, CNA/LPN staff, float staff, bed side and nursing station telemonitoring, hospitalist coverage 24/7, anesthesia/CRNA support, surgeons support Technology/Equipment: EMR (EPIC), IV Pump (Alaris), Pyxis medication dispensing system Floating: Float rotation may be required, with candidates floating between Phase I and Phase II recovery for Main and East PACU units.
