looking for!JOB DUTIES:DESIGN & IMPLEMENTATIONDesign and develop highly available, low‑latency backend cloud services that power connected products and customer‑facing applicationsBuild and integrate RESTful APIs, backend services, and cloud native componentsContribute to architecture discussions by evaluating options, defining patterns, and ensuring designs meet standards for scalability, performance, security, and maintainabilityIntegrate the latest technology stacks into solutions within a fast‑paced, evolving environmentTECHNICAL LEADERSHIP & COLLABORATIONLead technical innovation improve system reliability, and support informed engineering decisionsQUALITY, CYBER AND OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCETake ownership of software component design, applying best‑in‑class engineering practices including unit testing, static code analysis, and cybersecurity complianceEnsure cybersecurity compliance by following secure development lifecycle practices and integrating security requirements early in the design and development processEnsure operational excellence by supporting high‑quality releases, monitoring service health, and ensuring reliable cloud service performance in production environmentsPartner with QA, SRE and support teams to maintain system stability, reliability and consistent operational performanceYOU MUST HAVE:8+ years of hands-on software development experience, including designing, building, and maintaining production-grade cloud services (Azure or equivalent)Strong expertise in C#/.NET and .NET Core, with solid object‑oriented design principles and understanding of distributed systemsConceptual understanding of IoT Hub technologiesProven experience implementing REST APIs, microservices, messaging solutions and event-driven architecturesExperience with cloud relational/non-relational databases (Ex: PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, Cosmos, DynamoDB)Experience with identity and access management (Ex: Auth0, OAuth2, Azure AD), and authorization frameworksThe ability to work in-office three days/week (Tu/Weds/Thurs) in adherence with our required hybrid work environmentWE VALUE:Experience in highly rigorous engineering environments, competitive technical programs, or equivalent applied industry experience demonstrating an ability to be analytical and solve complex engineering problems at a level commonly seen in top tier technical training or high performing engineering rolesAbility and willingness to provide L3 support in a production environment, ensuring reliability and quick resolution of issuesExperience with active‑active multi‑region architecture and development using Azure services ensuring zero‑downtime failover, global traffic distribution, and high resilienceStrong knowledge of Azure App Services, Functions, API Management, EventHub, API Gateway, Load Balancer, Traffic Manager, and development of IoT solutionsExperience designing and implementing authorization/permission management frameworksExperience with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub, Crucible, SonarQube, or similarExperience with Scaled Agile/SCRUM development practices and a collaborative approach to software deliveryStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of owning design and implementation with minimal supervisionDemonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively
