About the Position

Job Title: ICU Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour D/N rotation Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: 2+ years License: RN License Certifications: BLS (must be AHA), ACLS Must-Have: Looking for an ICU nurse who is comfortable on a stepdown unit taking up to 3 patients. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience. Weekend requirement is 5 shifts every 6 weeks. Holidays will be every other holiday. First to float as needed. Description: The unit has 24 beds. Electronic medical record system utilized is Epic. Patient ratios are 1:3. Floor orientation consists of 3 days. Common drips managed include insulin gtts, cardizem, heparin, Lasix, precedex, and low-dose pressors. Common types of patients include those with respiratory disease processes, neurological disorders, and chronic illnesses. COVID-19 precautions are in place. Scrubs required are navy blue pants and solid navy blue or solid white tops. Long sleeve shirts worn under scrubs must be navy or white.
