This leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations, driving productivity, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining a safe and compliant workplace.The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in aerospace manufacturing, CNC machining operations, employee development, and production planning. If you are a hands-on leader with a passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence, we want to hear from you.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance with AS9100/AS13100 requirements, company policies, and quality standardsLead, mentor, train, and develop production employees on processes and proceduresAssign and manage workloads using production scheduling softwareMonitor productivity, quality, and operational performance metricsMaintain employee time and attendance recordsPromote and enforce a safe working environment and proactively address safety concernsConduct employee performance evaluations and maintain skills matrix documentationCoordinate staffing and vacation schedules while maintaining production targetsAdminister corrective and disciplinary actions as neededCommunicate effectively across departments to support operational goalsDevelop and maintain production schedules to meet customer requirements and optimize resourcesManage inventory levels and support supply chain planning activitiesProvide customer delivery updates, shipping schedules, and production forecastsCoordinate the release of work orders to ensure efficient workflow and material movementMonitor current and future production requirements and collaborate with Production Supervisors to meet demandSupport continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and corrective action initiativesPerform additional duties as assigned by managementQualificationsRequired5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment5+ years of aerospace production experienceExperience with CNC milling and lathe operations, including machine setup and G-code editingProven success in production management and process improvement initiativesStrong understanding of supply chain and inventory management principlesAbility to read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical drawingsKnowledge of inspection techniques, including CMM operation and reportingExperience with Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and 8D problem-solving methodologiesStrong leadership, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume manufacturing environmentStop your job search and apply today!
