- Mondaythrough Friday schedule 7am-5pm
- Dayshift(times vary based on bus pick up and drop off)
- Weekends off
- Federaland State holidays
- Schoolbreaks (Christmas, Winter break, Spring break, and acknowledgereligious holidays)
- Inclementweather school closure days off
- Oneon One client care
- Maintainoptimum health and well-being of the student
- Maybe assigned to up to four (4) students at a specific school location
- Providesskilled nursing care in various educational/scholastic environments
- Attendall in services, school conferences, and required trainings
- Confirmstudent's medical orders that comply with school policies,standards of practice, and all other applicable rules, regulations,and laws
- Collaboratewith classroom staff and school officials to monitor and developstudent goals
- Documentin the student's EMR all health services and screenings rendered
- Informappropriate designee/school nurse of any changes or additions to thestudent's medical care plan, procedure, medications, or additionsnecessary to the student's medical supplies
- Maintainconfidentiality in adherence to the Maryland Nurse Practice Act
- Performsspecific treatments and administers medications as necessary
- Educatespatients and family regarding the patient's illness
- Appliesindependent emergency measures to counteract adverse developmentsnotifies designee of patient's condition
- Ensuresthe highest degree of quality care for the client and/or patient
- CurrentLPN license
- CurrentCPR/First Aid
- pre-employmentcriminal background,
- physicalexam (within one year),
- ValidTB test
- Health Insurance (T&C applies)
- Weekly pay, direct deposit
- Certification reimbursement
