Bring your expertise and compassion to a varied caseload that shifts throughout the year. Based at a school site (to be determined), you’ll also provide essential services to students who are medically homebound, ensuring continuity of care and communication for each student’s unique needs. While there are only a few homebound cases, your flexibility and dedication will ensure every student receives high-quality speech-language support.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Valid Delaware SLP license (required for consideration)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Previous school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
• Comfort working in both in-school and homebound environments
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to flex with caseload and placement changes

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy to K-12 students in a school setting and to homebound learners as assigned
• Conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress
• Collaborate with educational and medical staff, as well as families
• Complete thorough documentation in a timely manner
• Adjust schedules and services to meet the evolving needs of the district
