Assembler

BASIC FUNCTION: Assembles parts at workstations per work instructions and on the job training. Tests pumps and accessories to meet product specifications. Uses hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications. Identifies units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repairs as necessary. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Assemble parts per prints, work instructions, and on the job training. Use basic hand tools and air tools to assemble products. Performs specified electrical and performance tests on subassemblies and assembled product. Assists on paint line as needed. Completes key performance indicators (KPIs) for performance measurement. Ability to work with other people in a team environment. Maintains clean and safe working environment in line with company policies. Other duties as signed QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: Must possess a high school diploma or GED Stable work history. Prior manufacturing experience preferred Mechanical / electrical aptitude preferred Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds frequently This description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work being performed by employees within this classification.
