Respiratory Therapist RRT - Respiratory Therapy, Full Time, Nights

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and clinically skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you will provide high‑quality respiratory care to patients across a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings, collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, and other members of the care team to deliver safe, evidence‑based treatment. You will perform patient assessments, interpret diagnostic data, and develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans for patients with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary conditions.

Key responsibilities include administering oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and chest physiotherapy; managing and monitoring invasive and non‑invasive mechanical ventilation; performing arterial blood gas sampling and analysis; conducting pulmonary function and other respiratory diagnostic tests as appropriate; and responding promptly to respiratory emergencies, including rapid responses and codes. You will educate patients and families on respiratory disease management, use of inhalers and home equipment, and strategies to optimize lung function and quality of life.
