We are seeking an experienced CPA who enjoys working directly with clients, solving complex tax challenges, and leading a high-performing tax and accounting team. This position offers the opportunity to build long-term client relationships while helping shape the future of our growing Tax & Accounting division.

This position is ideal for a CPA who enjoys a client-facing practice, takes ownership of client relationships, and is motivated to maintain a productive practice.

What You'll Do

Tax Planning & Advisory

• Develop proactive tax strategies for business owners and high-net-worth individuals.
• Review complex individual, business, trust, and partnership tax returns.
• Identify tax-saving opportunities and provide year-round advisory services.
• Conduct tax projections and planning meetings with clients.
• Research complex tax issues and provide practical recommendations.

Client Advisory

• Serve as the primary advisor for a portfolio of business and individual clients.
• Build long-term relationships through exceptional service and proactive communication.
• Advise clients on entity structure, business operations, cash flow, tax implications, and financial strategy.
• Collaborate with attorneys and other professionals to deliver integrated solutions.

Leadership & Team Development

• Review work prepared by staff accountants and provide coaching and mentorship.
• Assist with training and developing team members.
• Help improve firm workflows, technology, and internal processes.
• Contribute to the continued growth and success of the Tax & Accounting division.

Qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required.
• Five or more years of experience in public accounting.
• Strong background in tax planning, tax compliance, and client advisory services.
• Experience reviewing tax returns and managing client engagements.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and cloud-based accounting technology.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple client relationships simultaneously.
• Strong leadership skills and a collaborative mindset.
