We specialize in interventional cardiac catheterizations, peripheral procedures, and electrophysiology device implantations, providing an exceptional opportunity for Registered Nurses (RNs) to elevate their skills while making a direct impact on patient outcomes. The Cath Lab CVT, under the direction the of the director/charge person, monitors procedures, including all diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral catheterization studies, ensures safe patient care, and works as a scrub assistant. This is a PRN Day Shift position.
Qualifications:- Education
- Associate's Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy
- In Lieu of education requirements, a minimum of five (5) years’ experience and:
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire) OR
- Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire)
- Licensure/Certification/Registration
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (preferred)
- If no ARRT, then one of the following licenses or certifications:
- -FL Certified Radiologic Technologist license OR
- -FL Registered Respiratory Therapist license OR
- -Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification OR
- -Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification
- -any of the four license/certifications above within 12 months of hire if no degree in the applicable fields
- BLS required
- ACLS required
