Medical Assistant (Float)We are currently seeking a highly motivated Medical Assistant to assist our medical providers. The Medical Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of our regional medical clinics. The position supports both providers and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication. This role will report to our Regional Clinic Manager and enable us to continue to scale in the healthcare industry.Our Values:Put Patients FirstEmpower Entrepreneurial Provider and Care TeamsOperate with Integrity & ExcellenceBe InnovativeWork As One TeamWhat You'll Do:Assists physicians, nurses, and other medical staff by performing administrative and clinical duties under the direction of a providerAdministrative duties may include scheduling appointments, maintaining medical recordsClinical duties may include, such as preparing a treatment room for patient exams, recording patient medical history, and cleaning and sterilizing medical equipmentEscort patients to exam rooms, interview patients, measure vital signs, including weight, blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and document all information in the patient's chartInterviews patients to obtain their medical historyRecords patient medical history, vital statistics, and test results in patient medical filesMust be detail oriented and possess strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environmentGood verbal and written communication skillsBe able to prioritize workload while remaining flexibleMay be required to work extended hours as operational needs dictatePerform other duties as assignedQualifications:Display knowledge of medical terminologyPossess excellent customer service skillsMaintain a high level of professionalismProficient in MS Office and patient management softwarePrevious experience in phlebotomy or laboratory work (preferred)Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant programPass a minimum of one exam from the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (preferred)Bilingual in Spanish is preferredEnvironmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions:Our organization follows an in-person work structure where the expectation is to work onsite on a daily basis. The home site for this position is 1252 Wyoming St., Boulder City, NV 89005, with the expectation of floating to all other locations as directed by the supervisor.The base pay range for this role is $17 - $23 per hour, with additional monthly bonus structure. This salary range represents our national target range for this role.
