Medical Assistant

CHC is a non‑profit social service agency in the Akron area whose mission is to treat, inspire, support and empower individuals and families impacted by the disease of addiction. CHC has been a critical part of Ohio’s efforts to treat and prevent substance use disorders since 1974. We are currently looking for a full time Medical Assistant. Position will not exceed, but will require 40 hours, Monday through Friday, 5:30am and 1:30pm. Duties include: Rooming Urine Drug Screens Scheduling Clerical Duties Other medical office tasks as requested by supervisor. Minimum Requirements: High school diploma. Training of the collection process will be provided; previous experience in handling specimen samples highly preferred. Professional attitude, excellent customer service skills and willingness to be trained. Excellent eye for detail, strong interpersonal, communication and time management skills. Ability to complete documentation both on the computer and by hand. CPR certification required.
