CDL-A Delivery Driver

Position Overview Food and food service delivery drivers are vital in the country’s food supply chain. They ensure customers receive products at scheduled times and maintain quality. Schedule Mandatory Monday, Friday, and Saturday Days off: Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday Dispatch hours: 3:00 AM – 4:00 AM Compensation and Benefits Competitive pay: $90,000 – $95,000 annually Day 1 health & wellness benefits Employee stock purchase plan 401(k) employer matching Education assistance Paid time off Primary Responsibilities Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and co‑workers. Function as a team member and perform any duty assigned. Perform all required safety checks (pre/post trip), inspections of tractor/truck and trailer as per DOT regulations. Report all safety issues, repairs, and hazards. Follow DOT regulations, company safe driving guidelines, and policies. Inspect trailer for proper load, perform count checks, verify invoices. Complete all required paperwork accurately and legibly. Move tractor to loading dock and attach preloaded trailer as needed. Drive to and deliver customer orders according to route schedule. Unload products from trailer and transport to designated storage areas. Perform damage control checks, scan items, and contact supervisor per policy. Verify delivery and obtain signatures. Collect money where required; load customer returns onto trailer and secure truck doors. Ensure tractor, trailer, and freight are locked or secured. Unload damaged goods and customer returns, complete paperwork, and remove trash as required. Record daily hours of service and enter log in accordance with federal DOT, state, and company requirements. Perform general housekeeping duties in tractor, loading dock area and keep trailers clear and clean. Secure all equipment at shift end and complete necessary paperwork. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. 12+ months commercial driving experience. Valid CDL‑A license. 21+ years old. Meet all state licensing and/or certification requirements. Clean Motor Vehicle Report for past 3 years. Pass post‑offer drug test and criminal background check. Pass road test. Hold or acquire a current DOT Health Card. Able to hand‑lift and use equipment to move or stack product cases/freight ranging from 10–35 pounds up to 60–90 pounds.
