Medication Technician

Legacy House of South Jordan is currently hiring a Medication Technician to join our compassionate assisted living healthcare team. If you're passionate about working with seniors, enjoy a team-oriented environment, and are looking to grow your career in healthcare, we'd love to meet you!

Pay & Benefits

$17-$19 per hour, based on experience

Schedule

Full-time or part-time
All shifts available- AM, PM, Swing, NOC

Key Responsibilities

As a Medication Technician, you will:

Administer medications and treatments under the direction of a licensed nurse
Assist residents while maintaining dignity, privacy, and residents' rights
Accurately document medication administration and changes in condition
Perform basic treatments, including simple dressing changes and skin care
Support residents with personal needs while promoting independence
Complete delegated tasks as assigned by nursing leadership

This role plays a vital part in delivering high-quality, compassionate care to our residents.

Qualifications

Current Caregiver or CNA Certification required
Certified Med Tech required
Strong communication skills with residents, families, and team members
Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and assist with resident transfers
Willingness and desire to work with senior residents
A respectful, empathetic, and dependable approach to care
