Registered Nurse Pre Admission Testing

Job Summary Under the general direction of the Clinical Manager/Director, coordinates and provides preoperative testing and education. Responsible for gathering health histories, appropriate orders, results and medication lists. Nursing care is provided in accordance with hospital policies and procedures, applicable state Nursing Practice Acts, ANA Standards of Practice, the generic and unit structure standards and/or ASPAN Standards of care if appropriate. Schedule Part time: Wed, Thurs, Fri – 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Qualifications Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with either an ADN or BSN degree. Licensure/Certifications: Must hold a current RN license from the Kansas Board of Nursing or an active compact license. BLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required upon hire. Experience: Clinical experience appropriate to area worked. 1 year Medical‑Surgical Experience preferred.
