Medical Surgical Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 guaranteed hours per week.

The Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will provide care for patients with spinal neuro trauma, gunshot wounds, and conditions resulting in quadriplegia and paraplegia. The ideal candidate will deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and monitor vital signs.
• Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using EPIC.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty of Medical Surgical Nursing.
• Current RN license verification through Nursys.
• Certification card relevant to specialty required.
• Skills checklist and references must be provided.
• No gaps greater than 60 days in work history/resume.
