We know, we know, you want to start volunteering right away! But trust us - we all have a lot to learn about homelessness. And providing incorrect support (however well-intentioned) can worsen the problem you're trying to solve. We want to set you up to make the biggest impact you can!
Our trainings typically take place every other Wednesday from 630pm - 730pm.
YOUR ACTIVITY : You will receive an overview of the root causes of homelessness, evidence-based solutions, and best practices for applying trauma-informed care when engaging with individuals transitioning out of homelessness. Upon completion, you will be better prepared to make a meaningful impact and will be approved to participate in volunteer opportunities involving direct interaction with our program participants.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Computer and access to Zoom
- Cameras must be on so we can confirm that you're actively participating
- Must be over age 14
We do not fulfill court-ordered volunteer hours .
