Peoplelink Staffing , in partnership with a prominent Manufacturing Warehouse in the Huntsville, AL area, is seeking a Supervisor to join their team!

Job Summary:

• Pay: $24 an hour
• Shifts Available:
  • 2nd Shift: 4:15pm-1:30am +2 hours OT

Position Summary:
Supervisors shall possess a proficient knowledge of all Team Leader and Inspector job requirements. Assist Operations Managers and Coordinators with project management account development and driving customer satisfaction.
Position Responsibilities

• Develop or improve standardized work instructions to support both customer and supplier inspection and rework projects.
• Understand and meet customer production quality and delivery time expectations.
• Have capability to evaluate all support staff for efficiency, accuracy, and competence of duty, making recommendations to Sr. staff for worker retention and promotability.
• Drive customer service through regular customer interaction and escalating opportunities for improvement in a timely manner.
• Read, comprehend, and apply written work instructions.
• Manage all aspects of assigned projects.
• Verify and correct project documentation.
• Perform layered audits across People, Parts, Process, Paperwork, and Protection.
• Supervise to ensure compliance with Global SQ and client policies and procedures.
• Maintain adequate project staffing levels.
• Recommend disciplinary actions to upper management.
• Assist with problem-solving customer complaints using various problem-solving and Root Cause Analysis methods.
• Ensure key performance indicator (KPI) data is collected and submitted in a thorough and timely manner.
• Assist Operations Manager and Operations Coordinator in recommending and driving continuous improvement initiatives to improve KPI trends.
• Obtain and submit client billing information in a timely manner as needed.
• Recommend tools and equipment replacement as needed.
• Assist with developing and implementing Team Leader and Inspector training.
• Comply with operational cost management restrictions or procedures.
• Demonstrate the ability to use gages, calipers, micrometers, scales, etc.
• Ensure work areas are clean and organized using 5S standards.

Essential Skills and Functions

• Able to multi-task, prioritize activities, and complete assignments on time.
• Capable of effectively working in a fast-paced environment.
• Available to work on multiple shifts.
• Capable of working with minimum supervision.
• Able to travel to project locations as needed.
• Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications 

• Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Preferred: Associate's Degree.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate weights of 10–50 pounds for extended periods of time.
• Demonstrate hand/eye coordination with arm/hand/finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp with visual acuity.
• Possess corrected 20/20 vision with no color blindness.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Able to pass initial and subsequent drug screenings.
