Department Radiology Status Part time Position Student Technician – Radiology (Student Tech-MISC13) Pay Range $18.85 – $28.30 per hour Benefits Eligible No Responsibilities Perform radiographic procedures at a technical level under the supervision of a Radiologic Technologist. Perform general radiographic, fluoroscopic, and portable procedures as assigned under the supervision of a Radiologic Technologist. Perform procedures that require independent judgement, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis. Provide appropriate age‑specific patient care to the following populations: neonate, infant, child, adolescent, adult, geriatric. Qualifications Education: High School Graduate and Senior Student of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology. Experience: No experience required beyond clinical experience obtained at completion of Junior year at an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology. Interpersonal: Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills, commitment to customer service; effective communication with all applicable customers and age groups; ability to work effectively in a team environment or independently.
