Staff Nurse (RN)

WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Staff RN, Expert will lead, mentor, and innovate as a SHC coordinator of patient care, collaborating with other care providers and health team members to provide required care. The Staff RN, Expert acts as a patient teacher and advocate, assisting the patient in seeking information, ensuring the patient has the opportunity for informed consent for treatment decisions, and promoting the maximum level of patient‑desired independence.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of RN experience. Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Nephrology Nurse with dialysis experience required; a combination of in‑center and/or acute, hemodialysis experience is required. Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing school or equivalent; master’s degree preferred. License/Certification: Current, active, unencumbered state RN licensure. Current Healthcare Provider certification (CPR) required. CNN/CDN Certification or within 12 months. Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Competent and in‑depth knowledge regarding the use of Electronic Health Records. Promotes a teamwork approach by offering information, advice, and assistance to all clinical staff in a positive, courteous, and cooperative manner.
