Seasonal Music Assistant

Seeking Seasonal Music Assistants to join our Divisional Headquarters Team Our Seasonal opportunities offer Sick time. This position will assist the Music Department in operating the Divisional Music and Arts Conservatory, Divisional Music and Arts Camp and Corps Music Week Program. Responsibilities ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Music and Arts Conservatory and Music, Arts and Jr. Soldier Camp Assist with setting up and preparing for music ministries at Long Point Camp Conduct and/or assist in devotions Participate/lead in chorus as assigned by Participate/lead elective classes Meet each day with member of Music and Arts Department Assist in other duties assigned by the Divisional Music Director and/or Assistant Divisional Music Director Corps Summer Music Week Organize a 5-day music program at their local corps in conjunction with Corps Officer and/or Local Officer Identify a minimum of 6 students to participate in the week Work with the Divisional Music Department to identify proper curriculum and music Make all copies of materials needed for classes Identify potential volunteers with the help of Corps Officers and/or Local Officer Plan a daily schedule Set up a performance schedule for students involved Meet daily (virtually) with member of the Music Department Other Duties Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
