Job Description Join the premier cancer treatment center on the East Coast - Virginia Cancer Institute currently operates 6 facilities in the greater Richmond area and is actively seeking a Radiologist to work within our independent, physician led, private practice setting. Key Responsibilities: Provide expert interpretation of PET and CT diagnostic imaging studies. Communicate critical and urgent findings directly to physicians and clinical teams. Consult with referring physicians to clarify imaging orders and provide guidance on appropriate imaging protocols. Participate in quality assurance and peer review activities to maintain high standards of care. Stay updated with the latest advancements in Radiology. Oversight of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine Program. Knowledge and previous experience with radioactive isotopes, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and understanding of nuclear medicine imaging techniques. Qualifications: Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.) with specialization in Radiology. Board certified in Radiology. Proven experience in cancer detection and diagnosis. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
