Overview Registered Nurse – Cath Lab in Portland, OR. Start date: 09/14/2026. 13-week travel assignment. Weekly pay: $2,872–$3,091 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: Day shift, typically 5x8 with hours varying (commonly 7:00 AM–4:30 PM or 6:30 AM–5:00 PM; flexible to 4/10s or 3/12s as needed). Work setting: Short-term acute care hospital with an on-site cardiovascular program. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,872–$3,091 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day shift; flexible daytime hours (4/10s or 3/12s possible) Start date: 09/14/2026 Setting: Short-term acute care hospital with a dedicated cath lab and cardiovascular services Responsibilities Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients in the cath lab and peri-procedural area, following established standards and the nursing process. Supervise and coordinate activities of assigned nursing staff; collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to plan and implement care. Perform pre-procedure assessments and post-procedure care; monitor hemodynamic status, patient comfort, and safety during interventional procedures. Participate in interventional procedures (catheterization, angiography, PCI) as scrub or circulator as appropriate; maintain sterile technique and ensure equipment readiness. Initiate and manage IV access, administer medications per orders, and monitor responses; assist with sedation/anesthesia as directed. Support discharge planning and provide patient and family education; contribute to a safe, healing environment and effective care transitions.
