TEAM LEADER - APPEALS

Appeals Team Lead
The Appeals Team Lead oversees the daily operations of the appeals team, ensuring accurate maintenance and timely processing of patient accounts. This role provides hands-on leadership through training, workflow guidance, and performance feedback to support high-quality, compliant appeal resolutions.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in medical billing, appeals, or revenue cycle operations
- Prior leadership or team-lead experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of payer guidelines, denial management, and appeal documentation
- Education: High School or equivalent
Requirements:
- Train, orient, and support new team members on workflows, systems, and compliance
- Manage end-to-end appeals, including review, submission, follow-up, and resolution of denied claims
- Partner with billing, collections, revenue cycle teams, and work closely with management to resolve issues and reduce recurring denials
