The Front Desk Team Lead is a highly engaged and energetic "go-to" resource who leads with a collaborative spirit to drive an engaging work experience for the team and an easy, fun shopping experience for our customers. The Front Desk Team Lead supports and elevates the Front Desk colleagues, ensures coverage in line with velocity, drives BOPS and Curbside fill in line with our Ready-On-Time promise, ensures we deliver an outstanding Gift Wrap product, and sets and role models a high expectation in delivering the customer experience with attention to detail, all in support of driving up the Net Promoter Service Score.*Essential Functions:* * Support the Front Desk, setting and overseeing service, presentation, process, and customer interaction expectations. * Drive the evolution of the Front Desk and elevate the customer experience. Cross train colleagues for proficiency in all functions with the ability to recognize and respond when flexing between stations is required based on business needs. * Deliver BOPS, and Curbside on time and with an outstanding experience. * Educate the team on Gift Wrap skills and deliver an outstanding product as expected from Bloomie's. * Model the expected service standards; coach colleagues to model the expected service standards; provide feedback and coaching as needed. *Qualifications:* * High School Diploma or equivalent required. * 1-2 years related experience. * Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers. * Resourceful and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities. * Resourceful self-starter, works well independently as well as part of a team, able to adapt to changing priorities. * Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays.*Essential Physical Requirements:* * Position requires prolonged periods of standing/walking around store or department. * May involve reaching, crouching, kneeling, stooping and color vision. * Frequent use of computers and other technology, necessary to perform job functions, including handheld equipment, cash register and ability to process register transactions. * Frequently lift/move up to 25lbs. *This job description is not all inclusive; additionally, Macy's, Inc. reserves the right to amend this job description at any time.
