Job Description:

Registered Nurse with a focus in PCU required to provide specialized care for patients in a 30-bed CHF Telemetry unit. Must be experienced in EKG monitoring and titration of cardiac and other drips.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and specialized nursing services for patients with CHF and telemetry needs.
• Interpret EKGs and manage titratable drips such as cardiac, heparin, Lasix, and bumex.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in similar units.
• Current ACLS and BLS (AHA) certifications.
• Dysrhythmia Exam required before acceptance with only 2 attempts allowed.
• Pass/fail Sim Lab on first day of orientation mandated.
• Navy scrub color and ability to work every other weekend and designated holidays.
