Class A DriverFrom warehouse to worksite, you're the link that keeps Roto-Rooter moving! We are growing and have an excellent opportunity for a Class A driver for sewer & water services repairs/replacements at our Bridgeport branch, located in Stratford, CT. The hourly pay range for this position is $24.00-$26.00, depending on experience. As a Class A driver for Roto-Rooter Services Company, you may drive vehicles such as heavy-duty plumbing trucks, septic pump trucks, vacuum trucks, or sewer jetting vehicles.ResponsibilitiesFollow OSHA, Department of Transportation (DOT), and Roto-Rooter safety proceduresInteract with customers as neededPerform manual labor in an open excavationOperate and maintain equipmentWork in confined spaces and open trenchesOther responsibilities may include but not limited to; set up hoses, pumps, and mechanical systems to clean septic tanks or clear municipal sewer lines; Ensure all heavy tools, waste tanks, and construction materials are safely loaded, balanced, and tied down before transit; Help unload materials, set up job site safety perimeters, or assist technicians with hands-on tasks when needed and even interact professionally with clients on-site, explain service procedures, and confirm delivery or pumping details!RequirementsCurrent CDL Class A licenseConstruction experience a plus in both residential and commercialAble to work in confined spaces and open trenchesComplete jobs within specified time linesAble to help out in excavation digs, equipment operator a major plus.Trenchless water, sewer & gas experience a plusWork a flexible schedule that may include nights and weekendsBenefitsAt Roto-Rooter, we believe our most significant investment is in our employees.
