Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Full-Time

Autumn Lake at Perring Parkway | Parkville, MD
$33–$38/hour | Full-Time | Benefits

We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join the rehabilitation team at Autumn Lake at Perring Parkway. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a COTA who enjoys helping residents regain independence and improve their ability to perform everyday activities in a supportive skilled nursing setting.

What You'll Do

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), strength, coordination, and functional mobility
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising OT
• Monitor resident progress and communicate updates to the therapy team
• Educate residents and caregivers on adaptive techniques and safe daily activities
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other rehabilitation professionals

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Occupational Therapy Assistant license required
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Strong communication, clinical, and teamwork skills
• Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required
• New graduate COTAs are welcome to apply
