Construction Defect Paralegal

A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced paralegal with construction defect experience. This is a highly visible role in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide full litigation support on construction defect cases from inception through trial
• Draft, review, and manage legal documents including pleadings, discovery, motions, and correspondence
• Coordinate and manage all phases of discovery, including document production, interrogatories, and subpoenas
• Maintain and organize case files, exhibits, and litigation calendars
• Assist with trial preparation, including deposition summaries, witness coordination, and exhibit preparation
• Communicate with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and internal teams as needed
• Track deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules and filing requirements

Qualifications

• 3+ years of paralegal experience within a litigation environment (construction defect experience strongly preferred)
• Strong understanding of litigation processes, procedures, and timelines
• Proven ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced setting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Proficiency with legal software and Microsoft Office Suite
