Pay Rate: $61.00 / Hour (USD)

Shift / Schedule: Night (3x12 Hours), 19:00–7:30

Job Summary

This is a travel/contract ICU RN position at an Acute Care, MAGNET-designated hospital. Recent ICU experience is required, and high-acuity ICU experience is highly preferred. The traveler may float up to 100% of shifts to like units (including DSU). Weekends may exceed every other weekend to accommodate unit needs. Patient ratios are 1:2. Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered, and travel pairs will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the ICU setting with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Float between like units (including DSU) up to 100% of shifts as directed
• Accommodate weekend scheduling needs, which may exceed every other weekend to meet unit needs
• Chart using Epic electronic health record system
• Adhere to facility dress code (Royal Blue scrubs for RNs)

Required Skills

• Recent ICU experience required (minimum 2 years)
• High-acuity ICU experience highly preferred
• Ability to float to like units (DSU)
• Willingness to accommodate weekend scheduling beyond every other weekend as needed
• Familiarity with Epic charting system

Education Requirements

• Active RN License required (Pending License not accepted)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
• BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification required

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• High-acuity ICU experience highly preferred
• First-time travelers accepted

• Block schedule: Per manager discretion

• Guaranteed Hours: Facility is able to call off once per two-week pay period
