Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health needs, and collaborating to develop tailored treatment plans.
  • \n
  • Providing evidence-based therapeutic services to individuals, groups, and families by applying modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other appropriate treatments.

  • Working alongside case managers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless continuum of care for all clients.
  • \n
  • Responding to acute crises and providing immediate support to clients who are experiencing distress, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • \n
  • Participating in community outreach initiatives aimed at raising awareness about mental health issues and reducing stigma through workshops and informational sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on serving a diverse client population, including individuals from various ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds. By cultivating cultural competence and sensitivity, you will enhance the therapeutic relationship and outcomes for your clients. You will be instrumental in addressing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues, contributing positively to the lives of those you serve.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A current and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) .
  • \n
  • A completed master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
  • \n
  • Exceptional communication skills and a proven ability to establish sincere therapeutic relationships with clients.
  • \n
  • A deep understanding of diverse cultural backgrounds, promoting inclusive care that respects clients' unique experiences and perspectives.

  • Strong organizational skills that ensure accurate documentation, timely follow-ups, and efficient management of client cases.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
