Activity Director Responsibilities: Plan, develop, and coordinate engaging activities that enhance residents’ quality of life. Organize social, recreational, and therapeutic programs tailored to residents' interests. Foster resident participation and encourage a lively community atmosphere. Collaborate with staff and families to ensure a well-rounded program. Maintain documentation and compliance with state regulations. Activity Director Qualifications: Experience in activity planning within a senior care, long-term care, or healthcare setting. Strong leadership and creativity to develop engaging programs. Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff. Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to activities in long-term care.
