Job Title: Machine Operator

SUMMARY:

Sunrider Manufacturing in Midlothian, Texas is looking for a Machine Operator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity, where you will be Tends to various Food production machines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

include the following but are not limited to. (Other duties may be assigned) Operates machine under the supervision of an experienced operator. Able to do basic assembly and disassembly of the machine. Able to properly clean and sanitize machine parts. Reads specifications to determine material requirements, and proper machine set up. Monitors the machine operation to detect product defects, machine malfunctions, or the need for any adjustments. Performs minor adjustments needed for the machine to run effectively under the supervision of an experienced operator. Ensures proper product is being filled. Feeds product to conveyors, hoppers, or other feeding devices, and unloads wrapped product. Fills out required daily production reports. Cleans and sanitizes machinery after each run according to GMP guidelines. Ensures quality product is being produced. Maintains an organized work area. Maintains a clean and safe work area. Follow GMPs as outlined by company policy. Follow safety rules as outlined by company policy. May be requested to work in other production departments as needed. Assists with yearly inventory.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
