University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Attendant to provide high-quality care to our clients in Clawson, MI. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities to promote their independence and well-being in a home setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
• Support clients with mobility and transferring to prevent falls and injuries
• Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment
• Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to supervisory staff
• Follow care plans and maintain accurate records of services provided

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or personal care roles is an asset, but NOT required
• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and team members
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Basic knowledge of safety and emergency procedures
• Valid driver's license or state ID is required for this position
• Reliable transportation is a plus
