Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to both PCU and Medical/Surgical unit (MSU) status patients within a combined unit setting
• Manage a patient assignment at a 1:4 ratio for PCU-level patients or a 1:5 ratio for Medical/Surgical-level patients
• Float to Telemetry and Medical/Surgical units as needed to support staffing demands
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions, responding promptly to changes in patient status
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska or a compact state license
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in an IMC, PCU, Stepdown, or Medical/Surgical nursing setting
• Ability to care for both PCU-level and Medical/Surgical-level patients within the same unit
• Willingness and ability to float to Telemetry and Medical/Surgical units

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a combined PCU/MSU or stepdown unit environment
• Telemetry monitoring experience
• ACLS certification
