Exciting Nursing Opportunity: Night Shift in Observational Care

Job Description:
- Start Date: ASAP
- First Time Traveler: Yes
- Weekend Requirement: 3 out of 6
- Daily Patient Census: 105
- Patient Ratios: 4:1
- Float Required: Yes (cover Observation Unit for ER Hold patients)
- Schedule: Night 3x12-Hour (18:00 - 06:00)
- No Call Required: Yes
- Orientation Hours: 40

Qualifications:
- Required Experience: Minimum 1 year
- Previous Charge Experience: Preferred
- Licensure: Valid CA state license required (no pending licenses)
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC

Skills You Will Utilize:
- Managing acute conditions like abdominal pain and asthma
- Handling emergency situations including trauma and drug overdose
- Administering IV medication and monitoring patients
- Providing emergency care for various conditions like stroke and seizures
- Collaboration with interdisciplinary support teams

Unit Details:
- Travelers support: Must be flexible with floating between facilities
- Interdisciplinary Support: Includes Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Social Services, and more
- Preferred Certification: TNCC in hand (may be allowed to start with willingness to obtain certification)

Customer Commitment:
- Must submit specific scheduling requests up-front during the application process.
- All RTO requests must be managed wisely to prevent contract terminations.

References Required:
- 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years during compliance prior to start (can include Charge RNs/Lead).
