Schedule: Monday & Tuesday: 7am - 3pm | Wednesday: 12pm - 8pm | Thursday and Friday 3pm - 11pm

Compensation: $17.00 hourly

Job Overview:

As a Bellman, you will play a crucial role improving our residents' experience by ensuring prompt and precise package processing in our high-rise apartment buildings. As a part of our dedicated team, you will manage all package-related operations seamlessly, prioritizing convenience and security for our residents.

Your Responsibilities:

• Carry out the day-to-day tasks
• Ensure that residents receive their packages on time and without damage
• Develop, implement, and communicate packing and delivery strategies to streamline work
• Receive and process all types of packages, and deliveries maintaining a flawless package management system
• Sort and track packages from receipt by the building to receipt by addressee/package owner
• Document custody transfers from receipt to delivery
• Organize package storage area for efficiency and safety
• Communicate effectively with team members and residents to issues related to package delivery or non-receipt
• Safely perform physically demanding tasks, including pushing, pulling, bending, and lifting packages
• Handle packages with the utmost care, skillfully avoiding any drops or abrupt movements that might result in injury or potential damage

Skills & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Multiple language fluency is desirable.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 30 – 50 lbs.
• Heavy lifting required (baggage handling)
• Work in an upright standing or sitting position for long periods of time.
• Handle, finger, grasp and lift objects and packages.
• Reach with hands and arms.
• Communicate, receive, and exchange ideas and information by means of the spoken and written word.
• Ability to quickly and easily navigate the property/building as required to meet the job functions.
• Complete all required forms.
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends based on project requirements.
• Ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner.
