This role involves providing specialized nursing care for patients with complex cardiac and medical conditions in a fast-paced ICU environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with advanced cardiovascular support devices and post-operative cardiovascular care. Job Details Position Description: The ICU unit manages patients with conditions such as diabetic ketoacidosis, acute respiratory failure, myocardial infarctions, coronary artery bypass grafts, and ventilator-dependent cases. The position requires experience with intra-aortic balloon pumps, Impellas, post-operative cardiovascular surgeries, and continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT). Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of employment or compact, BLS certification via AHA, ACLS certification via AHA, minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a related critical care setting, and current RN license. Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours minimum per week. Responsibilities: Provides routine and complex nursing care, administers medications and treatments according to protocols, assesses patient conditions, educates patients and families, and collaborates with healthcare team members to ensure quality care.
