Associate, Payroll Implementations

Position Overview You will be a Payroll Implementation Associate—an entry‑level role focused on ensuring smooth payroll integrations for our clients. You will manage complex, client‑specific scenarios, exercise independent judgment, and collaborate with internal teams and external payroll partners to deliver flawless onboarding and ongoing support. Key Responsibilities Coordinate with clients and payroll systems to configure, test, and validate integrations for high‑volume workloads. Analyze client configurations and system behavior, identifying risks and recommending solutions. Develop and maintain internal and client‑facing knowledge bases, continuously improving processes. Prioritize tasks, sequence work, and communicate status to stakeholders with independent judgment. Manage migration and deactivation of client integrations, ensuring smooth transitions and risk mitigation. Onboard new payroll‑integration partners, guiding readiness assessment, implementation approach, and issue resolution. Requirements 1+ year experience in financial services, operations, or SaaS; project or implementation roles preferred. Strong project‑management skills with the ability to prioritize and sequence tasks independently. Demonstrated capacity to handle multiple competing priorities and assess urgency and impact. Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders at all levels. Ability to document findings, explain recommendations, and drive resolutions. Experience with work‑management platforms (Asana, Slack, Zendesk, Jira, Salesforce). Excel proficiency is required. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and work experience. Preferred Extras Payroll system experience. Retirement‑industry experience, including regulated environments or ERISA‑adjacent processes. Location & Compensation This position is based in New York City, Austin, King of Prussia, or Scottsdale and is a hybrid role. The base salary range is $60 K–$72 K.
