Are you ready to take your expertise as a cardiovascular technologist to new heights. Join our team as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role on a multidisciplinary team. Assist physicians and cath lab personnel in conducting diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and operate advanced imaging equipment to capture images and data of the heart and vascular system.

Minimum Qualifications

• BLS Provider obtained within 30 days of hire or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• One or more of the following credentials obtained prior to hire or job transfer date: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) credential from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI); Cardiographic Technologist specializing in Electrophysiology credentialed from CCI; or Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with specialization in Radiography, Vascular Interventional Radiography, Cardiac Interventional Radiography, or Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography.
• Experience working in a hospital cath lab environment with competency in scrub and monitor roles.
• Ability to monitor vitals, anticipate case changes and physician needs, and maintain aseptic technique during procedures.
• State specific licensing when required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced Life Support (ACLS) preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Prior experience with Philips Azurion and Allura cath lab systems preferred.
• Familiarity with Mac Lab Hemo system and Medhost EHR preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 0700-1530.
• Call required.
• Work includes combined Cath Lab, IR, Vascular procedures and some device cases.
• 3-person procedure team structure (2 Techs and 1 RN) with techs expected to scrub and monitor multiple modalities.
