Provide meaningful, life-changing 1:1 pediatric nursing care for a child who depends on skilled clinical support. Affirmed Home Care is seeking compassionate and experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to care for an 11-year-old pediatric patient with quadriplegia secondary to a brain tumor in Allendale, NJ.

Available Shifts

Coverage Needed:

• Monday, Wednesday & Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM (3:30 PM coverage may also be considered)
• Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

About the Case

• 11-year-old pediatric patient with quadriplegia secondary to a brain tumor
• Requires G-tube feedings and routine G-tube care
• Suctioning support throughout the day at home and school
• Cough assist treatments
• Wheelchair dependent
• Assistance with transfers, positioning, and mobility needs
• Consistent daytime schedule
• Supportive and engaged family

What You'll Do

• Provide 1:1 pediatric nursing care focused on safety, comfort, and clinical stability
• Administer and monitor G-tube feedings
• Perform suctioning and airway management as needed
• Administer cough assist therapy and monitor respiratory status
• Assess for changes in condition and communicate updates appropriately
• Assist with mobility, positioning, and activities of daily living
• Collaborate with the family, school personnel, physicians, and Affirmed Home Care clinical team to ensure continuity of care
• Complete accurate clinical documentation

Pay Rate

RN: $50/hr

What You Bring

• Active New Jersey RN License
• Preferred experience with G-tube feedings, suctioning, cough assist, and medically complex pediatric patients
• Current BLS Certification
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Physical exam within 12 months
• PPD or QuantiFERON within 1 year (or chest X-ray within 5 years)
• Proof of flu vaccine or approved exemption
