Commercial Associate - Middle Market (Greater Bay/San Francisco)

Job Overview This role supports the analysis of market and industry data to uncover insights for client/prospect meetings, pitch books, and relationship reviews. The analyst collaborates with Market Executives, Relationship Managers, and cross‑bank teams to prepare client presentations, support deals, observe credit approval and treasury solutions processes, coordinate client activities, deliver analytics, and identify new business opportunities. Key Responsibilities Support analysis of market and industry data for client and prospect meetings. Collaborate with Market Executives, Relationship Managers, and team members across the bank to prepare client presentations and support deals. Observe and support credit approval and treasury solutions processes to build knowledge of products, services, and related approval and packaging requirements. Coordinate clients, prospects, and partners from product and deal teams throughout transactions. Deliver new business analytics, monitor client activities, and perform portfolio optimization to expand relationships. Understand and interpret financial and cash flow statements to assess company financial conditions and industry trends. Collaborate with investment banking, foreign exchange, wealth management, credit, treasury management, and merchant services specialists to design financial solutions. Required Qualifications Minimum two years of professional or business experience. Analytical thinking and financial modeling skills. Strong critical thinking and ability to work independently. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team. Understanding and interpretation of corporate financial statements. Desired Qualifications Prior internship or entry‑level role in financial services. Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. Shift & Compensation Shift: 1st shift (United States of America) Hours per week: 40 Pay range: $85,000.00 – $125,000.00 annualized salary, plus discretionary incentive eligible.
