Associate Attorney - Bankruptcy

Job OverviewA law firm seeks an associate attorney specializing in bankruptcy to join their team in Boca Raton, FL. The ideal candidate will have experience representing secured creditors in consumer Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy cases. While 3+ years of experience is preferred, the firm is open to training a team-oriented candidate with less experience. A license to practice law in Arizona is required. Duties Manage routine bankruptcy matters. Draft and review pleadings and claims. Attend scheduled hearings. Respond to bankruptcy inquiries. Review client filings. Monitor electronic filings (ECFs). Resolve routine bankruptcy issues. Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and the court. Requirements Knowledge of bankruptcy rules and creditor rights laws. Computer literacy and keyboard skills. Professionalism and attention to detail. Time management and communication skills. Education Law degree (JD). Certifications Barred in Arizona. Admitted to District and/or Bankruptcy Courts in Arizona. Skills Strong understanding of bankruptcy procedures. Effective communication and organizational skills.
