Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Medicine Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Two years of Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric populations within the last three years License: RN license required Certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS (AHA only), TNCC required Must-Have: Epic experience required Traveler will be required to pass Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start Flu vaccine required - Medical/religious exemptions only Description: Evening/Night, 12 and 8-hour shifts between the hours of 19:00 - 07:30. Weekend rotation including holidays as needed. Two years of Emergency Department experience is necessary with adult and pediatric populations within the last three years. Epic experience is required. A valid RN license is required. Current certifications in BLS, PALS, ACLS (AHA only), and TNCC are required. Traveler will be required to pass a Telemetry test prior to starting the assignment. Patient age groups include neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The department handles nearly 45,000 patients annually. It provides comprehensive emergency care and is recognized for timely, evidence-based treatment across the lifespan. It includes exam rooms with facilities to flex as needed to accommodate high patient volume. The team coordinates closely with ambulance services to provide seamless care for critically ill and injured patients. Staff serve as a rapid response team, delivering emergent assessment and intervention throughout the facility. Travelers may be required to float as needed based on unit demands. Minimum experience includes two years of acute care experience within the last three years in the specialty. A telemetry exam will be required before the start of the assignment with specific passing criteria. If the traveler fails to meet the requirements after a set number of attempts, the assignment will be canceled.
