We are seeking an experienced Mechanic-Fleet Manager to oversee all shop operations, equipment maintenance, and fleet reliability. This is an opportunity to play a critical leadership role by ensuring our equipment, vehicles, and machinery are safe, reliable, and ready to perform every day. We offer an annual salary of $70,000-$85,000 (based on experience), retirement/401K plan, major holidays, paid time off, and a positive and collaborative work environment. Responsibilities Lead shop operations while fostering a positive, accountable culture while offering top customer service to the team of associates who serve our customers. Maintenance and repair of small engines (required). Oversee preventative maintenance programs for fleet vehicles, heavy equipment, and machinery. Schedule, prioritize, and manage repairs to minimize downtime. Develop and improve maintenance procedures and shop efficiencies. Monitor maintenance budgets, expenses, inventory, and equipment replacement needs. Perform regular inspections to identify maintenance issues before they become costly problems. Ensure all repairs are completed safely, accurately, and efficiently. Maintain maintenance logs, repair documentation, and daily progress reports. Partner with company leadership to support operational goals and long-term planning. Hire, coach, develop, and evaluate shop personnel. Champion workplace safety by ensuring compliance with company safety policies and OSHA standards. Qualifications 6+ years of mechanic experience working with trucks, equipment, or heavy machinery. 4+ years of leadership or shop management experience. Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team. Strong understanding of preventative maintenance programs and repair scheduling. Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable using technology and maintenance software. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret plans and technical documents; Aspire CRM experience preferred. A proactive leader with a strong sense of urgency and commitment to quality.
