Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor, you will play a critical role in delivering tailored mental health services to youth. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a caseload of clients by establishing rapport and cultivating positive therapeutic relationships within a professional framework.

  • Conducting regular meetings with clients to evaluate progress, discuss upcoming appointments, and facilitate appropriate discharge processes when goals have been met.

  • Creating, implementing, and monitoring person-centered treatment plans that reflect each client's unique needs and goals.
  • \n
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation and progress notes for each client to ensure continuity of care and adherence to professional standards.

  • Conducting initial assessments and intake evaluations to understand each client's background, challenges, and treatment needs.

  • Facilitating individual therapy sessions on a weekly basis, employing effective therapeutic techniques suited to the youth population.

  • Participating in individual supervision sessions to enhance your professional development and clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be primarily working with children and adolescents experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Qualifications\n

To be considered for the position, you will need the following qualifications:

  • A Master’s Degree in Mental Health or a related field.

  • Active licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.

  • A proven track record of meeting credentialing requirements relevant to clinical practice.

Compensation and Benefits\n
