Assistant Sales Manager - Closer *Arizona RE License Required*

Job Summary Assists the Sales Manager with the operation of the sales gallery, including scheduling Sales Executives to meet customer flow, reviewing weekly reports and disseminating this information to the sales team, and being available to assist sales executives with closing sales. Helps generate new business and attract potential owners by reviewing the current book of business and coordinating with the marketing department. Provides necessary resources, coaching and training on sales techniques to the sales staff, resolves conflicts, manages team performance, monitors guest experience, and responds proactively to customer concerns. Candidate Profile High school diploma or GED and minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position. Required Qualifications Proficiency in English (additional language required for certain positions). Active and in‑good standing professional Real Estate License where mandated by law. Successful Candidates Will Be Willing To Begin work early in the morning (e.g., 7:15 am). Work at night occasionally. Work weekends and holidays as required by business needs. Be reachable during off‑hours. Building Customer Base Work with marketing and management team to develop strategies for increasing qualified traffic for sales presentations. Support development of self‑generated business by working existing customer base and local community. Help Sales Manager evaluate and analyze the book of business to generate more sales, referrals, and track escrows. Assist in creating and monitoring the process to assign Sales Executives to prospective owners/members. Managing the Sales Experience Close sales as appropriate; serve as the second face for the customer. Aid the Sales Manager in managing the sales floor to ensure efficient guest tour flow. Provide information and answer questions from guests regarding vacation ownership, seasonal travel, and financing options. Review and approve documentation for a sale. Close deals with signing and notarizing contracts. Handle overflow from tour waves. Support presentation and ratification of contracts to new owners. Greet guests and introduce them to front desk or Sales Executives. Ensure all necessary materials are provided for Sales Executives to perform daily activities. General Business Management Encourage and support a positive work environment that recognizes achievements and promotes open communication. Assist Sales Manager in managing guest experience and brand integrity. Conduct regular sales management meetings to review performance and develop action plans. Mediate, counsel, and resolve issues with subordinates and colleagues. Schedule Sales Team to ensure adequate coverage of sales tours. Contribute to Daily Huddles/Line Ups. Monitor weekly and period‑to‑date reports and provide motivational messages to the sales team. Assist in supervising daily operational aspects of the Sales Gallery Floor. Determine when issue escalation is required. Develop, maintain, and enhance the culture of excellence. Interview new candidates for Sales Executive positions. Providing Services to Others Respond to customer questions, complaints, and concerns. Communicate with customers when escalated issues arise. Handle cancellations with callbacks to customers. Coordinate with Quality Assurance and Contracts to relay important information. Assist in developing proactive plans to mitigate common customer problems. Managing and Coaching the Sales Force Provide real‑time coaching and consultation on closing sales strategies. Maintain presence on the sales floor during selling sessions to support Sales Executives. Build team camaraderie and confidence to achieve sales goals. Conduct performance reviews with Sales Executives to assess progress and set actions. Assist in onboarding new Sales Executives and ensuring proficiency in the sales process. Conduct one‑on‑one coaching to develop sales approach and handle rejection. Deliver training to the sales workforce. Address employee concerns such as workplace conflict and performance issues. Prepare Sales Executives with strategies for overcoming objections. Develop and supervise regular group training sessions. Facilitate training and feedback sessions with new hires. Supervise and monitor sales presentations for compliance with standards. Accompany Sales Executives on ride‑alongs to provide feedback. Diagnose issues with under‑performing Sales Executives. Support the hiring process through recruiting activities. Interpret and coach Sales Executives based on feedback. Monitor and coach Sales Executive customer communication skills. Other Understand and abide by state and federal regulations related to sales and marketing. Perform other duties as assigned.
