Commercial Property Accountant in Miami Beach - Direct Hire

Job Title

A privately held, entrepreneurial, and retail-focused commercial real estate company with expertise encompassing the various facets of real estate investments, entitlement, redevelopment, and asset management seeks qualified candidate with strong accounting / bookkeeping, communication, and teamwork skills to support a portfolio of single and multi-tenant retail assets in Miami-Dade County.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include:

Property AR and AP
CAM RECS
Track and monitor tenant ledgers
Post and process journal entries at the end on month
Issue and prepare invoices and apply payments
Reconciling intercompany AR/AP
Perform credit card reconciliations
Assist Controller in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements
Assist other departments such Property Management and Brokerage with reviewing of expenses and payment processing
Update financial data in a timely and accurate manner
Ad hoc accounting projects

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/ Bookkeeper certificate - preferred
3-5 years' experience working in Commercial Real Estate Accounting a MUST
Experience in QuickBooks and Yardi Voyager highly preferred
Knowledge of NNN (Triple Net) leases
Organized hands on
Good judgment
Position requires to work in the office 100%
