Security Officer (Full-Time)LOCATION: King of Prussia – King of Prussia, PAPAY: $16.50/hourPOSITION TYPE: Full-TimeSCHEDULE: 4:00PM-12:00AMOVERVIEW: We are hiring a Retail Security Guard to help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for customers, employees, and vendors. This role requires strong attention to detail, professionalism, and a customer-first mindset.BENEFITS:Weekly payFlexible schedulingEmployee discountsEmployee Assistance Program (confidential support resources)Supportive work environment focused on well-beingKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Security & PatrolPatrol assigned areas or maintain a fixed post to monitor activityControl access points and manage pedestrian/vehicle trafficIdentify and report suspicious activity, incidents, or safety concernsRespond to alarms, emergencies, and on-site incidentsMonitoring & ReportingMonitor CCTV cameras and security systemsComplete daily activity logs, incident reports, and required documentationMaintain awareness of surroundings at all timesSafety & ComplianceFollow all post orders, company policies, and safety proceduresMaintain knowledge of emergency response protocolsInspect property for safety risks (fire hazards, equipment issues, etc.)Support loss prevention and recommend safety improvementsCustomer ServiceGreet and assist customers, employees, and visitors in a professional mannerProvide directions and support as neededMaintain a visible, approachable presence on-siteQUALIFICATIONS:RequiredStrong customer service and communication skillsAbility to stay alert and respond calmly in emergency situationsReliable, punctual, and able to follow directionsAbility to write clear and accurate reportsMust present a professional appearance and demeanorPreferredPrior security or customer-facing experienceFamiliarity with CCTV, alarms, or access control systemsSkills & AttributesHigh level of attentiveness and situational awarenessDependable and team-orientedAble to multitask and work in a fast-paced environmentStrong work ethic with a sense of urgencyWork ExpectationsArrive on time in full uniform and ready to workStay engaged and proactive throughout your shiftFollow all safety, training, and compliance requirementsADDITIONAL INFORMATION:Duties may vary based on site needs. This role requires reliability, professionalism, and a commitment to maintaining a safe environment.Minimum Qualifications:High School Diploma and/or equivalent (GED).Must be willing to submit to a background and drug screen; any offer of employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background investigation.Minimum 3 -- 6 months prior experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems or access computer systems.Driver's license is required.
