Job Description:
As a Network/Printing/System Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting enterprise network services, print management infrastructure, Active Directory administration, and file server operations. You will provide technical support, manage user access, troubleshoot network printing and scanning solutions, and help maintain secure, compliant, and efficient IT operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and support SMB network scanning, Windows File Servers, folder permissions, and share security.
• Manage network printing environments, including printer deployments, removals, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Administer Active Directory and Azure Active Directory user accounts, groups, and access controls.
• Monitor Help Desk requests, perform technical triage, and provide Level 2 support and issue resolution.
• Create and manage DHCP reservations and support network-related administration tasks.
• Configure and maintain print servers, printer queues, permissions, and user access.
• Provide file recovery support utilizing backup solutions and Volume Shadow Services.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and operational standards.
• Utilize PowerShell and Microsoft Graph scripting to automate and optimize administrative processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to implement solutions and improve operational efficiency.

Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:

• Strong experience with SMB network scanning, Windows File Server management, folder security, and shared resource administration.
• Extensive experience with network printing administration, including deployments, removals, scanning, troubleshooting, and print server management.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Active Directory and Azure Active Directory administration.
• Knowledge of enterprise identity and access management concepts, including user, computer, and endpoint relationships.
• Experience managing DHCP services, DNS fundamentals, and network connectivity troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and Microsoft Graph automation.
• Experience supporting file recovery, backup solutions, and storage management technologies.
• Strong understanding of security and compliance requirements related to access controls and protected data environments.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to support users and collaborate effectively with technical teams.

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $40.00 to $60.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
